Warm Apple Pear Quinoa Breakfast
Hello! It is so cold those days that a cold breakfast is not very appealing. What's best than a warm bowl of goodness to kick start your day?
I love how both light and nutritous this breakfast is. It is also quick to make even if you are on the go.
Ingredients (for 2 people)
1 small glass water
3 tablespoons quinoa (any type)
1 table spoon margarine (or almond butter)
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch salt
A handful of hazelnuts (or any nuts you like)
In a pot, bring the water to boil and add the quinoa. Let it cook and add the margarine or nut butter, Ginger, cinnamon and salt and let it cook for 5 minutes. In the meantime, chop the apple and pears and add them to the pot. Cook for a couple of minute or until the fruits start to melt. Add the nuts. That's said.
