The Best Mixed Berries Smoothie
Hello! Berries are some of my favorite fruits and one of the reason why I love so much summer in this part of the world is that I can have as many berries as I want for several months! Not only they are really beautiful, but they are delicious and fairly low in calories means: you then get maximum nutrition. They are loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxydants, that help our cells fight free-radical damage.
So, last Saturday, after leaving my yoga class, I was craving a big berries smoothie for lunch the other day (so what?). I went to get them from my fruits and veggies market down the street from my home, but once there, I could not make up my mind which berries I wanted so I decided to have them all!
All you need is 300 grams of mixed berries (in my case, raspberries, gooseberries, blueberries, blackberries and cassis). I blend it all in my Vitamix Professional Series 500 for a couple of minutes, and voilà!
My opinion? It is simply the best berries smoothie I have ever had!
