Summery Vitamin Water
So summer is now in full swing in Paris and one of my favorite threat at this time of a year is fruit infused water. It is a great way to not only get the minimum of 1.5 L you have to drink per day but also a bunch of vitamins in the process from the fruits and herbs that are infused.
So for this one, I used one of my very favorie combo of strawberries, watermelon and mint.
Ingredients (for a big pitcher)
Around 6 strawberries, cut in two
150g of watermelon chopped in fairly big size
Few mint leaves
In a pitcher (ideally one that comes with a lid, or a plain good old jar), add watermelon, straweberries, herbs and water in this order. Close the lid and put in the fridge for 3 hours. Serve very chilled same day. If having it in a glass, you can use a sieve. To get all the goodness out of of it, use the fruits for a smoothie!
